In my home learning I learned about lots of information such as what kind of food Greeks eat and what the climates like, also the Greek gods and the Olympic games and the last thing was about the battle of troy;  I found it interesting because the Greeks built a wooden horse to hide in wile the other Greek slide away. Also I  liked how the Greeks eat because its a lot healthier than some other cultures; they eat olives and fish and and other different proteins. The Olympic games is really funny because men usually didn't wear any clothing in the Olympic games and that's why women were not allowed to watch. I also found out that the climate is EXTREMELY hot in the summer and mild in the winter.

5\6Gs trip to see the wonderful musical Annie by Jess and Hollie

On Friday the 6th of January 2012 class 5\6G of Robin Hood Primary School went to see the wonderful musical Annie at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds. But before seeing the Wonderful Musical we took part in a brilliant backstage tour where we saw the stage (which was shaped like an amphitheatre so everybody could see the play which was going on)before the actual play started,we also went to the dressing room and we visited the green room where the actors hang out before there big preformances!We also got to take part in a amazing workshop where we got to play very fun acting games and act out the Greek myth of Pandora's box where we all wore masks just like the actors of an amphitheatre did!

My learning is about the Trojan war. I wrote about all the main people including Hector, the Trojan horse, Paris (Hectors brother), Achilles, Helen and Agamemnon. Helen was the daughter of Zeus and the woman who started the Trojan war.

This term we have been learning about Ancient Greece and my home learning was about the Battle of Troy. On the film I made I said a long long time ago around the 1250bc Paris, the Prince of Troy, fell in love and abduckted Helen, the wife of Menilas who was the prince of Greece.

Children had a slave to take to school, the slave would hit them if they were bad.

The Battle of Troy

This is my home learning. It's about the Battle of Troy. I shall tell you a bit about the last part of this story. Its where they built what's called the Trojan horse. They pretended to surrender and sail away so they opened the gates of Troy and stood outside and waited in it then the gates shut and they waited and waited till........ The Trojans arrived. They fought till the Trojans lost the battle.

This is my homework, I did about the Greek Gods and Godessess. I have learnt that Zeus is the king of all the gods. Hera is the queen of all the godessess. Poseidon and Hades are Zeus's brothers. Poseidon is god of the sea and Hades is god of the underworld. Apollo is the god of music and Artemis is the godess of hunting and animals, they were twins. Demeter is the godess of farming and Ares is the god of war. Aphrodite is the godess of love and beauty and Hermes is the messenger of the gods. Dionysos is the god of wine!!!

This is my homework, for my home learning. I did about the
first Greek Olympics. The Olympic creators were Zeus
and Hera. They were king and queen of all gods. Zeus
and Hera wanted away to show how much people
worshiped them. So the Olympics began.
The first Olympic event was running (how boring).
After a while the Olympics became much more exciting
like now we have long distance running, swimming, horse
riding and many many more.
